Enterprise Saskatchewan will be the first of its kind in Canada, bringing together all sectors of the provincial economy to develop a sustainable growth agenda.

Overview


The Competitiveness Branch has two major functions. The first is to lead the government's regulatory reform initiative, which includes fulfilling the government's commitment to reduce the number of regulations by 25 per cent by the year 2006.

The second function is to address business irritants and red tape issues for small- and medium-sized businesses. To accomplish this objective, the branch works with individual businesses and their associations. Business people who have questions or wish to provide input into the process are invited to contact the department.

Regulatory Requirements for Starting a Business

These bulletins describe the provincial regulatory requirements for a specific business during start-up and a point of contact for each of the regulatory authorities.
